I had those feelings too but in one class I had years ago our teacher said ” don’t judge history with the values you have in the present” I know it’s fiction but alot of the plot, without all the magic component is based on medieval times, so of course there will be racism and sexism, but the strong females characters are doing what they can within their time and that’s very brave imo, so ya, it’s something I have to tell myself everything I watch the show or read the books
